From the 1st of January 2007, Ful-Ton Fork Lifts, took over the agency for Doosan Daewoo in the central belt of Scotland. We are excited with this new venture, linking up with a company which provides and manufactures a wide variety of plant presentable to all types of industry.
The Doosan Way
"The Doosan Way" is their organizing principle, their inspirational corporate philosophy, and the driving force behind their 110 years of success. Doosan has offices in 24 countries worldwide with over six thousand employees. Following their rebirth as Doosan Infracore in April 2005, the company has stayed focused on laying down the foundation for its growth as one of the "World's Top 5 Firms in the Infrastructure Support Business". They launched the companywide operation innovation program to secure a competitive edge over globally advanced companies. They made sure they developed & introduced next-generation products to expand future growth engines.
Improvement of vehicle performance, energy efficiency, environmental response (compliance with environmental regulations), and operator convenience as well as the simplification of the manufacturing process by applying the modular design concept e.g. Development of the next-generation electric lift truck & in-house development of the engine-type lift truck. Since Doosan Infracore started its industrial vehicle business in 1967, it has achieved remarkable progress and expanded business areas to include diesel & gas/LPG engine-type lift trucks & electric lift trucks from 1 to 15 tonnes. Doosan Infracore is well and truly on its way to becoming a world-class, premier logistics equipment manufacturer. Doosan independently develop core components such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems and Oil cooled disc brakes and also introduced ergonomic designs to enhance product image. They produce a total of 90 models including 23 diesel engine types, 32 gas/LPG and 35 electric. Over 10,000 units of the engine-type trucks with capacity of 2 to 3 tons are sold every year as one of the world’s best products. As part of their concerted efforts to improve their future growth potential, they have completed the development of next-generation products with improved quality and functionality, and they are preparing to introduce such products in the market. Their commitment is to develop environment-friendly, low pollution engines with higher output, better fuel economy & less weight. Taking all these things into consideration, Ful-Ton Fork Lifts are excited about this new venture and look forward to introducing their products into our customer base and hire fleet.

FORKLIFT DRIVER TRAINING. Training is now a Health & Safety requirement and insurance companies insist that every forklift operator has a certificate. Not all certificates are accepted by these organisations, they request that training is carried out by companies registered to an approved body such as RTITB. Accidents resulting from the use of forklift trucks are not uncommon in industry. The most usual cause of them is poor or non-existent operator training. The law requires such training to be done, and certification should be by an approved body. Nothing less than this is acceptable. Our instructor has been trained, tested & accredited to instructor standard endorsed by the RTITB Ltd (formerly the Road Transport Industry Training Board). He is included on the RTITB National Register of Qualified Instructors and we are RTITB accredited training providers.
At our purpose built factory in Hamilton we have a vast range of forklifts for sale or hire.
We have our own transport lorry for delivery of rental machines or replacement trucks in case of emergencies, along with a 40ft water-tight curtain-sided trailer meaning prompt coverage and low cost to the end user. We operate experienced fleet engineers who cover the whole of Scotland and you can be assured of our promt attention to breakdowns at all times.
We hold a lot of spare parts in stock for most models of forklift and we have been able to cross-refer most major components which means genuine parts at a fraction of the cost of the manufacturers. This part of our business is run through our sister company Tryus Spare Parts Ltd.
Whatever your requirements, whether it be service, parts, hires, sales or training, just phone us with your desired specification and we will submit our competitive quotation for providing a unit to meet your requirements.
